What is fabric glue?
The Fabric glue is a type of adhesive that is commonly used to join textiles, fabric tapes, etc. It can also be used on other materials such as leather, metal and plastic. Glue comes in liquid or paste form, and can be applied with a brush or spray.
This product can be purchased at most craft stores, or at professional stores such as Adifafe.
It is a high-quality product made with textile-safe ingredients. This means it leaves no residue when it is removed or when drying. It can also be easily washed. However, if it is applied using spray, you must keep the pieces of fabric separate until it dries a little. This is because the spray does not immediately glue the fabrics together, requiring a short wait for it to become thicker with greater viscosity.
These glues are used to hold fabric firmly on a surface during cutting or sewing. Textile professionals often use fabric glue when they want to temporarily fix pieces of fabric before sewing them together. To do so, you must spray the product on it. Then place the fabric pieces together, holding them in place for a few seconds until they are firmly glued together. Make sure the fabric pieces are flat against each other before releasing them, otherwise there will be gaps between the fabric when it is sewn.
How to use?
There are several ways to use fabric glue. The main way is to use it as a fabric adhesive. To do this, simply place the two pieces of fabric to be glued on a flat surface. Apply fabric glue to one of the pieces of fabric, then press the two pieces together. Hold them in place for a few seconds until the fabric glue dries.
When using, make sure that the material where you are going to apply the product is clean and free from dirt, dust and oils. Glue does not attach properly to fabric if it is not clean. To ensure that the glue adheres correctly, you must heat the fabric before using the spray.
You must shake the package well before use and then spray it on the work area at a distance of approximately 25 to 30 cm from the material to be sprayed and then place the fabric on the work area, following the suggestions indicated above for better adhesion.
